If it’s Christmas
there is bright lights
there is also saddness
there is also gladness
but don’t forget it is a month just like the other 11 months before
December is a month full of drama
It’s also full of fun and extra goodness
It can unravel and twist me

Blueberry (for almost any berry) Crisp –
2/3 cup whole wheat flour; 1 1/2 cups rolled oats; 1 tsp salt; 1 tsp cinnamon; 1/2 cup olive oil; 1/2 cup good honey; 1/2 tsp vanilla ;
6 cups wild blue berries (or toss in any leftover berries rolling around in your fridge for a mixed fruit crisp); 2 tsp lemon juice; 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
