the story behind our kirkville acreage sign

It was in the late 1990’s that my folks came to visit us and they had this sign made for our new home out in the country.

How they came up with this acreage name I don’t remember but they had some fun getting it made and looking forward to presenting it to us. We were pleasantly surprised.

We moved the sign from Swift Current to Yorkton acreage.

This kirkville wall hanging sign shown below is made by my son. He used his rotary dremel onto the back of an old pine chair I had sitting in the burning lumber heap out back.

What is Dremel tool used for?

Dremel rotary tools are suitable for carving, engraving, routing, grinding, sharpening, cleaning, polishing, cutting and sanding. Many different accessories and attachments are also produced. Dremel Multitools work by using speed instead of torque.

I thought it was very heartfelt and sweet that my son made this for us.
