placating the norm

A little church alongside a secondary road appeared on our drive in the countryside on Sunday afternoon. We were wanting to get out of the house for a break from the “stay at home” law.

You can still get away in your car and go for a drive, like we did. This was such a calm reassuring spot. I had to stop and take this photo.

I felt my body relax as I got out of the truck and snapped this photo.

All is alright. Standstill. Breathe. Release. Keep it simple. Lessen expectations.

This is a new normal we are adjusting to now. I need reassurances. This little spot with a little church, placated me.
