I used to take Selfies

A selfie, if done right, is a wonderful way to share who you are. In my case, it shares who I am, what I like, and what I do and don’t want to do.

These are 2016 selfies.

My favourite of these is ALL OF THEM.

THE SHADOW OF ME TAKING THIS PHOTO AND THE SUN ON THE WILD GRASS AND THEN THE POND JUST PEEKING THROUGH, THE COLOUR OF THE GREEN PRAIRIE GRASS IS WORTH A EXPLANATORY CAPTION.
I WAS PREPARING FOR MY STORYSLAM SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT AND I CHOSE THIS TO WEAR. LOOK AT THAT DEEP RICH PURPLE BLOUSE.
I BOUGHT THIS T SHIRT ON LINE AND WHEN IT SHOWED UP I FELT SELF CONSCIOUS WEARING IT. IT SEEMED TOO MUCH OF A BIG FLOWER THING GOING ON. I LOVE TO WEAR IT NOW,.
ORANGE WITH METAL BUTTONS AND POCKETS IS SO COOL!
I’M EITHER WRITING OR ON MY IPHONE. THIS IS NOT A USUAL POSE SO I CANNOT REMEMBER WHEN AND WHERE AND WHO TOOK THIS.

Do you feel vulnerable when someone takes a photo of you?
I at first thought it was a very scary, put yourself out there, vain thing to do.
